The Oxford Martin Programme on the Future of Food hosts visiting academics and fellows but does not directly supervise students. Academics and postdoctoral researchers involved in the network are able to supervise students and should be contacted directly as a first course of action. Below are links to academics and researchers involved in the Future of Food, current doctoral training partnerships, and information about IFSTAL.
Professional development courses
The Oxford Department for Continuing Education offers a range of Professional Development courses in Environment and Sustainability.
Academic supervisors
Food, as a research topic, is invariably interdisciplinary. Have a look at our academic network pages to find someone working in your area of interest.
Interdisciplinary Food Systems Teaching and Learning (IFSTAL)
IFSTAL is an elective training programme designed to improve post-graduate level knowledge and understanding of the food system from a broader perspective, which can be applied to your own studies and subsequently within the context of the workplace.
